Filmed over two years, this film follows the journey of a college sophomore through ovarian cancer as she comes of age in a time of immense uncertainty and isolation. Through a combination of video diaries, interviews and verité footage, viewers will follow the story as it unfolds in real time. This film shows the truth of what it’s like to go through cancer treatment as a young patient today, highlighting the healing nature of dance and movement throughout. At the End of a Dance is a coming of age story about perfectionism, growing up online and learning to love yourself from the eyes of a college sophomore who’s world seemed like it was falling apart when it was actually just beginning. As one of the only films about cancer directed by the survivor, this film has unprecedented access. The film is currently in post-production.
